Yodl's guides are written to be used on the ground. Here is what that means in practice, and what you can count on from every page.
We go where we send you
Every place in a directory is one we've been to. We walk them, we write them up, and we change the entry when the place changes. If somewhere isn't listed, that's the review.
Nobody pays to be here
No sponsored spots, no paid placement, no affiliate strings. The only reason a place makes a list is that we would send a friend there.
The rate you see is the live one
We don't print a number that isn't yours. The app shows exactly what a payment converts to before you approve it, so the figure you act on is the one you get.
You hold your own money
Yodl is a wallet you control. Your balance stays with you, and every payment is approved on your phone before anything moves.
Who does what
When you pay, a licensed local partner hands the shop its local currency. Yodl is the app you tap; it does not hold your funds or move the cash itself.
